You’re not lost. She’s still in there — waiting for you to see her, remember her, and finally let her shine again.

If you’ve ever stood in front of the mirror and wondered where you went — I see you.

That’s exactly how Mom Buns and Ruffles began… with one woman who’d lost herself, and a simple moment that helped her find her way back. 💕

I started this boutique because I didn’t feel beautiful anymore.

After my fourth baby — right in the middle of Covid — I looked in the mirror and barely recognized myself. My body had changed. My energy was gone. And somewhere between facilitating virtual school for my 5 and 6 year olds with 2 babies in my arms, endless snack crumbs, and sleepless nights… I lost me.

I remember tugging at a frumpy shirt that didn’t fit right and thinking, “Is this just who I am now?”

One morning, I decided to change that.

I fixed my hair, put on my makeup, and slipped into a flowy dress that actually made me feel pretty again. And for the first time in a long time, I saw a tiny little glimpse of me.

That’s when I realized — it’s not vanity, it’s connection.

When we take time to put on something that makes us feel beautiful, we’re really saying, “I still matter.”

It’s about respecting myself — honoring the woman underneath the mom bun who still deserves to feel confident and seen.

That moment changed everything.

Now, every piece I bring in is for women like us — the ones juggling a million things, the ones with stories written on their skin, the ones who just want to feel confident in their own reflection again.

These aren’t just clothes. They’re a reminder.

That you can be soft and strong.
That you can throw your hair in a mom bun and get sh!t done — then slip into a beautiful dress and command every room you walk into.
That your body is allowed to change.
That you’re still beautiful — right now, exactly as you are.

Because I promise, she’s still in there.
The confident, radiant, perfectly imperfect you.

And I’m here to help you see her again.
